TYPE OF DJ I have been a professional DJ for nearly 20 years and over that time I’ve learned to read the crowd and move with them. There is an organic element to DJing that is different to simply allowing a pre-made playlist from a streaming service to play one song after another. Not just the ability to seamlessly blend songs and create the environment for everyone to let loose, but also the ability to instantly react to what is happening in the room. When it comes to DJing, I believe there are only two genres of music; good and bad. I love playing good music, regardless of the style!
